Black. You are sooo misunderstood. Have you thought about all the ways you can use black nail art on your digits? True, it’s the preferred look for vampires but did you ever hear of any of them becoming fashion design gurus?
Black is even used in In feng shui, as a positive way of harmonizing your home, office, and other environments, each color represents a feng shui element.
Black is associated with the water element and evokes power, mystery, and calm. When it’s used sparingly, black has a grounding effect on your environment.
According to German Scientist Hermann von Helmholz, “Black is real sensation, even if it is produced by the entire absence of light. The sensation of black is distinctly different from the lack of all sensation.”
He was particularly attuned to the sensations of color and how we see things and wrote extensively about this.
A fun little bit of info, he did many studies on how we see stars when getting bonked on the head.
Obviously, the eye is not reporting accurately on the external world, for the reality is the bonking, not the stars.
But the sensation is real nonetheless and how we experience this sensation of “lack of color” can be classy and elegant, fun, crazy, or used as an artistic statement. Let’s check some of these out.

Fun Nails
This design leans towards the subtle side- bold and beautiful. A little matte, a little gloss, and you got yourself a rodeo at the tips of each finger. Now go rustle up a little fun!
Crazy Nails
Hey, you got 10 tiny blank canvases there, why duplicate? Let each finger be its own artistic expression. If you run out of fingers, move down to your toes. Did we mention this is a real show-stopper when holding a glass of red wine? This is a stellar look when you get your glam on with glitter!
