Vegas On Your Mind? Try These Top 5 Work From Home Hotels

We’re always looking for more ways to help you escape your home to different surroundings. Check out these work-from-home hotels with special deals going on.

A cure for going stir-crazy may not be easy to find, but we can help. Covid has brought about new ways to get away and it’s being called Workations.

Hotels and resorts want to keep the ball rolling so many of them (thousands actually) have created work-from-home packages where you can get a room at a luxury hotel or resort and still have all the necessities to handle your 9-5.

The beauty is that you can do this while also enjoying a cocktail and taking a quick dip in a pool.

It’s not like the boss is just gonna pop in on you. In fact, given some of these locations, there just might be a lounge chair on the beach that has “workstation” written all over it.

What’s A Workation Package Look Like?

Depending on how extreme you want to go, like taking private flights to the hotel or resort, these packages generally include a luxury room, high-speed WiFi, and a day rate that’s easy to swallow.

You can even check out at 5 pm without staying overnight. Some places also offer rooms with a large monitor that you can attach to your laptop.

Room service delivering cocktails might not be mimicking the office you’re used to working out of, but it’s a brave new world out there. Embrace it!

MGM-owned Bellagio and the ARIA Hotel and Resorts – Las Vegas, NV

Called “Viva Las Office,” you can now take that Vegas trip and be productive at the same time. You get a room that is office-ready with fast and secure wi-fi, a desk, and plenty of video meeting-worthy backdrops to fool the boss with on those Zoom meetings.

Workation at Las Vegas Hotel

You can also check in as early as 8 am and check out as late as 6 pm for no extra charge. There are other perks as well, such as getting up to $375 in Food & Beverage Credits, and the concierge is magically transformed into your own “Executive Assistant” who will help you make reservations and schedule that well-deserved massage.

Travelers can purchase food and drink credits, time slots at private pools, and cabana access.  The hotels have also partnered with JSX Airlines.

So if you happen to be heading over to Las Vegas from the west coast, you can get discounts on semi-private flights leaving out of their easy access private terminals.

Just drive up to the JSX terminal, valet your car, and stroll through their check-in process in minutes. In fact, 20 minutes is all you need to get from the curb to your seat. Lucky you!

The Viva Las Office offer is good through February 2, 2021, and packages start at US$101.00 per night with a 3-night minimum stay. Certain restrictions apply.

Aruba Sunset Beach Studios – Aruba, Caribbean

If you really want to venture off with a work-from-home hotel, then Aruba in the Caribbean is calling your name. With temperatures average in the low 80s year-round and cooling trade winds practically every day of the year, the only caveat is that you need to book the studio for a minimum of 14 days.

Aruba Sunset Beach Studios have named their workation “One Happy Workation” and offers 14 beach studios that are located in Aruba’s upscale neighborhood of Malmok.

For US$99.00 per night, you also get a complimentary membership to the nearby Moomba Beach Club (1 mile away) with free use of beach lounge chairs and a 15% discount at bars & restaurants.

Nothing like sitting on a lounge chair at the beach that lets the world know you don’t work hard, you work smart.

Remember, global travel restrictions are in place so be sure to read up on the latest before you plan your trip to Aruba.

Roundtree – Amagansett, NY

The Hamptons are synonymous with rural luxury, pristine sandy beaches, and a playground for society’s elite.

In fact, it’s commonplace to see celebrities going about their daily routines at the Hamptons and nobody makes a big deal about it. A-listers come here for the same reason that you have, to enjoy some peace and quiet.

The Roundtree is a historic 15-room boutique hotel, a tranquil gem along miles-long white sand beaches. The two-acre property is only a one-mile bike ride to the beach – just hop on one of their bicycle cruisers, and they’ll supply you with a bag with beach necessities.

The Roundtree can also provide standing desks, printers, and meeting space which may or may not be those comfy lounges on the lawn.

From afternoon tea to enjoying s’mores happy hour every evening at the outdoor fire pit on the back lawn, your break time will turn work into a memorable experience. This should motivate you to land some new deals.

Rooms start from $595 per night and to keep you on point they offer a luxury midweek stay. Book 2 nights or longer between Sunday and Thursday in one of their rooms or suites and receive 20% off your nightly rate. The usual restrictions apply and this is good thru December 30th, 2020.

Viceroy – Santa Monica, CA

Conveniently located steps from the beach, along with onsite bike rentals, you pretty much have everything you need to decompress and knock out some numbers for Mr. Big. Or Miss Big.

The Viceroy has been part of the LA beach scene for the past 20 years, with the pool being the centerpiece for Hollywood’s up-and-coming who’s who. renovated with private cabanas, it’s a little more hush-hush now, but since you’re here to work, all the better.

The  “Work From Home Hotel” package includes ocean view accommodations, a business desk with a desktop monitor, and a video game console with games. This is work, right?

Nothing says social distancing like private cabanas by the poolside, and the Viceroy Hotel has 6 open-air cabanas that are available to book. They include comfortable sofa seating complimentary bottled waters and sparkling wine.

The Viceroy’s Work From Hotel rate is around US$675.00 per night which includes the Grand Ocean View room. Look for deals through the end of the year and take the time to make a special bike trip to Dogtown Coffee. It’s the real deal when it comes to your morning wake-up call.

Conrad Punta de Mita – Mexico

Recently opened just a few months ago, Hilton’s flagship Conrad Punta de Mita boasts 324 rooms, all facing the ocean. Part of the Litibú gated community along the Riviera Nayarit, the hotel has access to an exclusive beach and three outdoor pools.

Conrad Punta de Mita calls its workation package “Work From Paradise.” With starting rates of US$260, there is a 4-night minimum stay, which includes a daily $75 resort credit, premium Wi-Fi, early check-in/late check-out, and a 50 percent discount on a massage.

If you are heading to the beach for your work-from-home hotel experience, we suspect you won’t be in your room much.

With the hotel’s lush landscaping and a 2-mile-long beach, you’re secluded enough to enjoy some quality slack time.

You know the drill, be sure to check the global restrictions on traveling abroad and the usual restrictions on what days these deals can be used.

Also if you’re worried you might miss your dog too much and he hasn’t quite grasped that Zoom thing, most of these work-from-home hotels will let you hang with your pet. Just like home.
